Item Description
Another innovation from Zionsville Autosport! Several of our 6 speed conversion users have asked for a way to continue using flywheels designed for the 5 speed transmissions. Our carrier locates the pilot bearing (sold separately) closer to the input shaft of the ZF 6 speed gear box, thereby compensating for its "short" length.
As a result, many stock and aftermarket flywheels may be retained for lower total conversion cost; or reuse in later model BMW's.
At only $59.95, a creative BMW owner/tuner can save a lot and add many options to his power transmission approach.
Note: Not for use with Getrag 5 speed equipped chassis.
